Install CDK on your computer if you haven't done so already.

In this codelab, you create your first TXW app with our sample project template provided by Booster.

Prerequisites

• Basic C programming knowledge

What you'll need

• Computer running Windows(10/11)
• The latest version of CDK
• TXW DevKit
• TXW Debugger

What you'll learn

• How to create an TXW Sample App with CDK+Booster
• How to download firmware to the DevKit in CDK
• How to using the debugger with devkit

What you'll build

• An app that print 'Hello World' to the UART console

In order to create a TXW application you need CDK and Booster (the samples tool) installed.

The instructions below are what worked for me on Mac, but you can also find instructions here

Install CDK

Install CDK if you don't have it. You can use download it from TXW developer site.

Install Booster

Install booster

Download Booster-1.0.0.zip

Extract the downloaded ZIP file.

• Conenct the Development board to the TXW Debuger
• Connect TXW Debuger to conputer use USB Type-C cable

Download CDK from TXW developer website TXW81x_FPV-2.5.4.7.zip

• Extract the downloaded ZIP file.

Create sample

• Open Booster.exe
• Drag extracted TXW SDK directory to Booster
• Select one sample from dropdwon list.

• Open CDK IDE.
• Open the top Menu, click "Project" menu,
• Select "Build All" to build the sample project
• Select "Clean All" to clean the project

Open the top Menu, click "Flash" menu, Select "Download" to flash the sample

The you'll see the LED will start to blink.
